Alain Dumont, a registered Canadian and United States patent agent, joined Goudreau Gage Dubuc in January 2006. He graduated from the Université de Montréal in 1997 with an honours bachelor of science degree in biochemistry, and received his doctorate of philosophy in immunology from McGill University in 2003. He received a scholarship from the Medical Research Council during his doctoral studies, and his research findings have been published in numerous scientific journals. Alain Dumont then worked as an associate to the scientific director of a Network of Centres of Excellence dedicated to the development of vaccines.

Alain Dumont practices in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical areas, and has particular expertise in the areas of immunology and vaccinology, as well as in biochemistry, genomics, proteomics, and molecular and cellular biology.
