Awa Carole Diop, a registered patent agent in Canada and the United States, joined Goudreau Gage Dubuc in September 2006. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minor in management from McGill University, and is a member of the Order of Professional Engineers of Quebec. Her practice is focused in the electrical and mechanical fields.
Since being hired, she has been involved in providing patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions, as well as in the preparation and prosecution of numerous patent applications in Canada and abroad.
Prior to joining Goudreau Gage Dubuc, Awa Carole Diop was employed by an engineering consulting firm based in Montreal where she worked on managing the company’s patent portfolio and took part in due diligence analyses, patentability searches, as well as the drafting and filing of patent applications.
