Charles Goyer, a registered patent agent in Canada and the United States has practiced exclusively in the biotechnology intellectual property field since 1992. He joined Goudreau Gage Dubuc in 1996.
Charles Goyer became one of Québec’s first “outside” biotech patent counsel with a Ph.D. He has developed a successful and long term business relationship with a number of biotech clients. Having a molecular biology background comprising bacterial and yeast genetics studies, his Patent Agent practice is biased towards the genetic side of biotechnology.
Since the beginning of his intellectual property career, Charles Goyer has been protecting the assets of his clients as if they were his own. He guides clients in crafting and developping effective and tailored protection strategies. Charles Goyer lives for mandates having complex issues! He has also built a network of top United States and foreign patent attorneys which enhances the quality, efficiency and business sense of his practice. Charles Goyer is also intensely involved in a number of committees for BioQuébec and Montréal InVivo.
