
Steven Lam joined the biotechnology group at Goudreau Gage Dubuc in July 2008 as a technical adviser, patents. He brings with him broad technical expertise from working eight years as a research scientist in both academia and industry, and his work has been published and cited in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals. He graduated from McGill University in 2006 after receiving his doctorate in biochemistry where he trained in the laboratory of Dr. Philippe Gros. Steven Lam won a number of scholarships during his academic career including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research doctoral award and was nominated by the McGill biochemistry department for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada doctoral prize for his thesis entitled “Nramp metal transporters: Insights into their structure, function and subcellular targeting”.
Steven Lam practices in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical areas, and has particular expertise in the areas of biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, immunology, vaccinology, genetics, genomics and proteomics.
