Greg Moore (August, 2007)

We are very pleased to announce that Greg Moore joined the firm in 2007 as a litigation partner after working for a major national law firm and the federal Department of Justice. He has appeared before a variety of courts and tribunals in Ontario and Quebec, as well as at the federal and international levels. Mr. Moore has particular expertise in the organization and conduct of long-term trials.

Gonzalo Lavin (March, 2007)

We are very pleased to announce that as of March 26, 2007, Gonzalo Lavin has become a partner at Goudreau Gage Dubuc.

Gonzalo is a registered Canadian and United States patent agent. He is also a senior member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). Gonzalo earned a Bachelors in electrical engineering (telecommunications and control systems) from McGill University and obtained a B. Sc. degree (Actuarial Mathematics) from Concordia University. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Goudreau Gage Dubuc, Gonzalo practiced in the intellectual property field for seven years at a well-established IP boutique. He also spent three years with an international telecommunications company where he worked in the in-house patent department.

Gonzalo’s practice focuses on strategic IP portfolio creation and management including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, as well as providing opinions on patentability, validity and infringement. Particular technologies of interest include the telecommunications, electrical and mechanical areas.
